What I learned from this Experience

This has been hands down one of the best experiences of my life. It has really been able to test my abilities and help me figure out what I can and cannot do. This has been the first time that I've really been part of a team building something from scratch. It's the first time I've held a role that makes me feel important and that I'm actually contributing something to the work we're doing. Of course, this comes with a tremendous amount of pressure, but my team is the best team I could ask for, and they're there for me to help keep me level-headed whenever I need it. The entire team works almost in sync with each other, with absolutely no conflicts, which I think is absolutely invaluable. Being the Director of Programming has really helped me broaden my creativity. It's helped me start thinking outside the box, which is something that I have never really done before. The team is also super supportive of each other. I can honestly say, putting money on this statement, that there is absolutely no one else I would rather work with than the team I'm on right now. I can see so many great things for the future of this convention, because I believe in my team and I feel like we could do this together. But for now, I'm just waiting with bated breath for April 29th.
