One of the most well known aspects of the furry fandom is fursuiting. This is when a member of the fandom takes a character, also known as a "fursona," of theirs and makes a custom made costume to wear at events, conventions, and meetups. After the closing of registration for Emerald Fur Con, we had a grand total of 63 fursuiters, not including the members of the Board who own fursuits themselves. This is easily the biggest number of fursuiters that this area has ever had at once.
